From the Heart Decorated Vintage Bottle !

Hello ! Hope your weekend was good ! I have another very simple bottle for you today, decorated using Stampin' Up supplies. The range of craft products they produce as a company now, means that you are no longer restricted to card making and covered note books ! The sky is the limit - the ribbons are sumptuous as are new products like the faceted buttons ! When I see these new things loads of ideas pop into my head - it's having the time to create them all that's the problem !

The frame for the label is from the stamp set Papaya Collage and the sentiment from From the Heart . The two tone ribbon is beautifully soft and makes a delicious bow and I've added a pretty key from a retired trinket set ! The lace is part of the Artisan embellishment kit form the latest mini catalogue - I'm going to miss it when it's gone ( end of June !!! )  as it is a very good value kit containing some gorgeous embellishments !

Thank you for stopping by - do come again !!!

Swallowtail Card !

Hello ! Just a quick late post this evening  to share with you a card I made for my lovely godson and his wife who have moved into their new house recently ! I don't really do themed cards so there is just an inference of moving with the ' wings ' - I know Alice will like the card because this was the colour scheme they chose for their wedding last year !

This is an A5 card on very vanilla card stock - I love rich razleberry ink on the vanilla ! This stamp has the wow factor but is not always easy to use on a card project because it is so large ! Just stamping part of the image seems to be the way to go !!!
Sorry to be in haste ! Have a wonderful weekend wherever you are and thanks for dropping by !!!!

Just Because Card !

Hello ! sometimes it's nice to send a card for no particular reason or just to keep in touch and this is one of those kinds of cards ! I used a nice combination of perfect plum , rich razleberry and bravo burgundy on naturals white card stock .

This is one of those cards that illustrates how a pretty card can be put together easily and quickly using tools - the punches are so brilliant and give such a professional look - even if you are not an experienced crafter !

Thank you for you much appreciated visit today !

Tea Shoppe Birthday Card !

Morning ! My amazing upline Peg celebrated her birthday at the weekend and I made this card for her ! Peg is an incredible crafter and when I get to see her work I am blown away by the skill and detail ! I love heat embossing , having come to it fairly late in my crafting career and used SU gold embossing powder to achieve the look of one of those gold teacups from the 1950's . Mixed with baja breeze I was really pleased with the finished look of the card !

I love the stamp set - Tea Shoppe - and use it a lot - it's so pretty and makes lovely cards for friends you regularly share a cuppa with ! Still addicted to the flower trim - have four spare packs now in my stash - don't want to run out !!!!
Happy crafting and have a great day !

More Amore Thank You Card !

Good Morning ! Another beautiful Spring day - just glorious - you so appreciate the sun after the kind of Winter we have just had ! I have a thank you card to share with you today - I have been truly blessed with so much support from wonderful friends and my new customers whilst getting this little business off the ground and a handmade card is just one way to say thank you ! This one was for my dear sweet friend Paula - thanks hun !!!! x

I find myself making a lot of these shabby flowers - just a phase I'm going through !!! The card stock from SU is such good quality you can split it and then scrunch - you then get a nice soft shabby flower !
Off to do some preparation for my classes and then more playing - oh, and housework ! Wonder how long I can get away with blowing on the furniture instead of dusting ???
 LOL !!!
Have a great day ! Hugs Jane xx

Recycled Cough Medicine Bottle !!!!

Good Morning ! Hope your weekend is good ! Birdies are tweeting in the garden ( not online ! LOL ! ) , the sun is shining and all the family is here - I like Sundays ! I have another altered bottle to share with you - I didn't have a spare so rummaged in the cupboard and found my favourite cough medicine passed it's sell by date ( it's been a good winter - not many coughs ! ) . So, here it is transformed - something that would have gone to glass recycling !

I love the clear stamps that Stampin' Up make and it's easy to lay them out individually dry on to label to plan your layout then you can put them all onto a large block and ink them up with the Stampin' Write markers and then stamp ! It also works inked one at a time and the clear stamps make it easy to get your placement accurate.
I'd like to give a very big welcome to all the new followers by the way - I am touched by your interest !

Happy Sunday ! Hugs Jane x

Altered Bottle Stampin' Up Style !

Good Morning ! Spring has returned- so I am a happy bunny ! Today I have something very different to share with you - I have been dabbling in lots of other projects ! I still love my cards and am enjoying a return to my scrap booking too but I want to show you how very versatile all the SU products are ! I have seen some sneak previews of lots of delicious goodies to come in the new catalogue which launches 1st July - I'll keep you posted as soon as I work out how to upload flyers onto my blog !!! LOL !

Stampin' Up do some lovely die cut labels and they were ideal for this project - what I really love is that I started out with an old bubble bath bottle, some ivory paper, a die, some stamps and inks , a little trinket and some ribbon , lace and flower trim, a brad and some filter paper and a little imagination and created something that cost next to nothing to produce, was lots of fun to make and would be a lovely little gift or keepsake !

This bottle contains magical fairy dust ( not available form SU - sorry ! ) or you could use dazzling diamonds which is !!! It gives the inside of the bottle a nice shimmer ! I've popped a large faceted glass button from SU of the top of the lid !
I have another to show you soon made from a cough medicine bottle !!!!
Have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by !

Mini Books !

Morning ! Yesterday I posted details of some forthcoming design classes and today I am sharing with you a little more detail of the Paris inspired mini book ! I covered it with some of the new co-ordinations card stock recently introduced by Stampin' Up - it's lovely because you can distress it and it takes the ink like a dream ! Currently there are three colours available : Pool Party , Primrose Petals and Raspberry Ripple ! I love them all as you will probably have guessed from recent posts !

I love to go through all my SU bits and bobs and pull out what will work together for a particular project. You do need to focus when you are punching your holes for the book ring to go through though ! Spot the error !!!!
More details of the Nature inspired mini book to follow very soon .
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by !
