You're Lovely 12 x 12 Layout !

Hello ! A little late posting today - getting back into the swing of things and got a little carried away with the layout I have to share with you today ! I love to try out new styles and I'm getting more adventureous ( for me at least !!! ) but today I have returned to classic me and I had lots of fun!  I have featured the lovely little stamp set - You're Lovely - one of the freebies in the upcoming Sale - a - Bration ! This special time of promotions starts on the 28th January - please contact me for details ! 
I have a 12x12 layout to show you based on very vanilla card stock and highlighted with smoky slate, crumb cake and soft sky inks ! 

I collaged so many stamps together over vellum and some DSP and added in a pretty doily for good measure - can you spot a butterfly from a lovely vintage SU stamp set ??

Sweet Sorbet Scrapbook Layout !

Hello ! I'm back today with a 12 x12 scrapbook layout to share with you ! I like to do more than just card making with my ladies - they are all experienced crafters and they keep me on my toes ! So this week , they get to do two 12 x 12 layouts in class - here is one of them ! I have featured the gorgeous SAB DSP Sweet Sorbet in this layout - it really lends itself to making mini pennants an combines so well with Banner Blast - another freebie - which has it's own free co-ordinatinating punch ! 

The card stock is smokey slate and I've added some wash tape and stamped the background to add another layer of interest ! Stamp sets used are :

Sale - a - Bration - More Sneak Peeks !

Hello ! Thanks for dropping by - I have been enjoying all the lovely colours in this gorgeous DSP - it's called Sweet Sorbet and is one of the free items coming up in the annual Sale-a-Bration which runs from the 28th January through to the end of March ! There are lots of lovely freebies to claim - one for every £45 you spend - not long to wait now ! Furthermore , we see the launch of a new Spring/Summer Seasonal catalogue on the 2nd February - so lots of new things to choose from !!!

The papers and other goodies have inspired me to make up some scrapbook layouts which I will be posting shortly - it's nice to have new stash to play with !!!

Follow My Heart Valentine Banner !

Hello ! I have been waiting for the last two hours for the sun to come out so I could take some decent photos of today's project in natural light ! Using the stamps sets featured in the previous card project I have put together a little Valentine banner - the pennants could be used as card fronts but I'm using mine as a little piece of home decor ! The large hearts were die cut from Coaster Board with the framelits heart set and sponged with crumb cake ink to define ! I then used the roses stamp from Best of Flowers to edge some of the hearts - my inks were raspberry ripple and primrose petals ( I like my vintage reds ! ). I hadn't used the coaster board until now and I just love it - it was perfect for this project where I wanted a card with a bit more substance ! 

I added some vellum to make a pocket on two of the pennants - it was embossed with perfect polka dots ! I made the flowers from stamped filter paper and the roses from raspberry ripple card stock . The scalloped edge on the vanilla heart was made by punching out lots of tiny hearts in red and then laying them on the reverse of the big heart around the edge - it was really quick to do !
