Where I Create !

I love the publication " Where Women Create " ! I just love to see the environment in which the designers create all their beautiful art and crafts - how they have the space set out and organised - it's so inspirational !! So today I thought I would share with you my little creative space ! It's not a studio ( I live in hope ! ) just a spare room upstairs set up with all my lovely stash - it's my little haven and now it's organised and functional I love it ! Come in and take a look !!! 

I need a little more table space because I am an incredibly messy crafter but apart from that it's pretty much perfect !!!

Back to My Roots !

Good Morning ! 
Having recently tidied my craft room I discovered lots of gorgeous goodies that I just didn't know I had purchased or had forgotten that I owned - it was a joy really and saved me lots of pennies in the New Year !! I have been thinking about my style of crafting and think this piece really shows  exactly everything I am as a crafter - a little shabby , definitely a little vintage , my love of soft muted colours and a love of all things pretty !!! It's a 10 x 10 inch layout which I have mounted as a piece of wall art ! Lots of photos !!! 

I loved doing this layout and - so nice to have my new routine of working in the mornings and allowing myself the pleasure of some much needed crafting in the afternoons !! Long may it last !!!

Big Beautiful Butterflies !

Hello !! Have you seen the first butterfly of the season yet ? I was looking out of the window a few days ago ( it was one of those days that made you feel like Spring had finally arrived ) and there was the biggest lime green butterfly I have ever seen flitting across the garden in the sunlight ! It just seemed too cold to see a Butterfly but there it was - a little piece of Summer !! I love to use butterflies in my crafting and here are two cards I made at the end of last week !

My life is full with my new business and crafting has now become a relaxing hobby again - which is lovely and I'm looking forward to exploring new avenues of creativity and just enjoying crafting for myself  !!
