Patio Party DSP Scrapbook Layout !

Scrapbooking was where I started in crafting and I like to keep my hand in every now and then ! I took some nice photos of my lovely daughter Rosie last summer and have been itching to scrapbook them ! She doesn't like any photos of herself and said that she liked my layout except for the photo !!! Boyfriend Howard told her she looked lovely so that was the end of that discussion !

Supplies used :
Stamp Sets : Tea Shoppe, Elements of Style, Distressed Dots  and Make a Cake
Dies and Punches : Framelits labels collection, itty bitty punches and  delicate doilies Sizzlits
Inks : baja breeze , cherry cobbler , not quite navy , pacific point , and marina mist
DSP : patio party
Cardstock : Very vanilla , cherry cobbler and not quite navy

The one thing about creating a scrap book page that I find hard is knowing when to stop adding !!! When I look back at some of my earlier attempts ( back in 2008 when I started ) I cringe - they are so simplistic and so not what I would produce today ! However , it teaches you that you have to start somewhere and that there is always room for improvement !
I tried to do something different with my bunting in this project and loved working with the DSP Patio Party with colours that are way out of my comfort zone ! What I really do love about SU is the creative colour combinations in their design suites - it's all done for you so you can be confident that everything works together - so clever !

Thank you so much for visiting today - so good of you to take the time !
Hugs Jane x

  3. Your daughter does look wonderful of course Jane and you've framed her beautifully with your layout. I wouldn't have said these colours or papers were very 'you' but you've absolutely made them your own! Vicky x
