Hello ! As you may know I offer a monthly kit consisting of carefully chosen Stampin' Up goodies - I love putting these kits together and the kit for August is based around a lovely stamp set Notable Notions and a wheel that co-ordinates well - Shop Around ! Also included in the kit is half a pack of DSP Etcetera which is divine and just up my street ( I use to teach Dress and Textiles ! ) and also has a lovely vintage/retro feel ! You also get an ideas sheet to make two cards, some free stamped images and die cuts ( themed ) ,  a yard of cotton tape and seven yards of bakers twine , a 12x12 sheet of core-dinations card in pool party and an A4 sheet of very vanilla card !

Here's a photo of all the goodies in the kit - it cost's £32 and is available to order for the whole catalogue year !!!! Please contact me on the mail link in my profile above for details !!!

The two cards give a starting point and a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing !!

Little Thank You Notes !

Hello ! It's been a manic few days - busy but in a nice kind of way !!!! My poor little blog always seems to be the first to be neglected ! So, just a very quick post today to show you some little thank you notes I put in with my last orders - they are very simple and have a hand written note inside !

The little covered notebook above was a little gift for some team ladies who joined me for a craft workshop at the weekend ! Gosh , did they work hard and produced some lovely projects !!!
I have some cards to share with you tomorrow showcasing the gorgeous stamp set Notable Notions !!! Until then - happy crafting !

This Day Forward Anniversary Card !

Good Morning !
It has cooled down a little today and there is even a nice breeze so I think today might be more productive ! I made this very simple anniversary card yesterday for my godson and his lovely wife - they are the most perfect couple and I cannot believe that they have been married for almost a year - the time has flown !!! They are a young couple so I made a fresh simple card using the stamp set This Day Forward which is designed for weddings but perfectly usable for an anniversary card. I added some flowers form the set Flower Shop and used the wheel stamps - Travel Journal and Viola's Lace to give a nice border to sit the flowers on !

I finished off the card with a little bow trim in basic grey stitched grosgrain ribbon and used the labels collection Framelits dies to cut the mounts. The filled in flower is from the hostess stamp set Morning Meadow and I don't know how I can live without it - it's a great addition to the ever growing collection !!!
Happy crafting and thanks for stopping by !

Morning Meadow Wedding Frame !

Good Morning ! Well , we have had some dramatic thunder storms here which seemed to go on all night - the garden is looking messy but slightly greener today after all the rain but this morning it's still no cooler !!! Yesterday I made this very simple mount to frame a trio of wedding photos which were taken at my godsons wedding last August - I have made it to give as a gift for their first wedding anniversary ! I have kept it very neutral so it will fit in with their decor and printed out the photos in B & W because it just seemed to look better in the frame I chose !

I used the stamp set Morning Meadow to stamp the flower sprays and then added little flowers punched with the itty bitty flower punch and then popped some mini rhinestones and pearls in the centres !
Off to make them an anniversary card now !!!!

Old Frame Makeover Stampin' Up Style !

Hello ! I have been painting furniture around the house to freshen up the decor and give old pieces a new lease of life ! We have always waited until we could buy the best we could afford but of course the downside is that nothing ever really wears out - so a fresh lick of paint gives you a new look !!! I have had these frames in the cloakroom for a few years and spruced them up with a paint called Paris Grey - it's gorgeous and will be used again and again ! I replaced the prints with some little stamped collages featuring some of my favourite stamp sets from SU - some new ones and some of my retired favs ! It's a nice way  to enjoy those stamp sets you are not currently using !

I apologise for the quality of the photos - it's hard to get a good photo of a frame with a glass front - but it will give you an idea of the overall effect !!! Off to make more transformations and plan for some lovely workshops I have coming up very soon !
Happy crafting - Hugs Jane xx
