Follow My Heart Valentines Card !

Good Morning ! 
Such a beautiful morning here in Worcestershire - lovely Winter sunshine and a gentle breeze ! However, we are surrounded by flood waters and more rain is on the way - our little village even made the national news !!! I have been crafting and planning and today I have another Valentines card to share with you using two of the special Valentines sets - Flowerfull Heart and Follow My Heart combined with Stippled Blossoms and a new set Peaceful Petals. There are lots of layers on this A5 card and I've used lots of dimensionals ! 

Although this is a pastel card you do need to add some deep tones or your work will look washed out ! I used the following inks - pink pirouette, blushing bride , primrose petals and crumb cake ( the last two are accent colours). Then to add more definition I stamped the leaf spray onto brushed gold card stock !

Flowerfull Heart Valentines Card !

Hello !!! I love to make Valentines cards for one main reason - I can indulge my love of PINK !!! I have an A5 one to share with you today which I have made for my daughter Rosie - we always send Valentines to each member of the family !! The base is pink pirouette card over very vanilla and it has a layer of Fancy Foil Designer Vellum from the new catalogue which has tiny gold hearts all over - it's gorgeous and I have lots of plans for projects to make with it - watch this space !!!

I'm sorry the colure are a little off - light levels are awful and it's made me realise that I really do need to invest in a light box - or maybe I'm just a bad photographer !!! I have also added some Watercolour Wonder Washi Tape and laid my doily under the vellum ! My flower is made using the scallop circle punch but if you can't be fussed to do all that cutting SU have now available a Spiral Flower die which does it all for you !!! The little pennant was stamped from Follow My Heart ( only available until Valentines day ) and the new gold Bakers Twine picks up the gold in the vellum and wash tape !!!

Vintage Stampin' Up Papillon Album !

Hello ! I had fun this week raiding my retired stamp sets and having a play with some of my old favourites ! I produced what was meant to be a mini album but it ended up being rather larger - 12 x 6 inches to be precise - so I called it an album ! I love butterflies so found out all my favourite ones and put them all together; the idea of this project is to add poems/quotes/photos to the album and then gift it to someone special - or you can keep it yourself !!!! Here are some photos - I'll talk you through as we go along ......

Front cover - Made from a whole piece of Coaster Board ( as is the back cover ) - ink stamps on to this surface so beautifully ! It's stamped collage style with a big blue flower and some pretty butterfly embellishments ! I have broken the rules by putting my ribbon down the centre - but I like it there !!

The pages inside are all different lengths with fancy edges - all the pages and cover are sponged around the edges with crumb cake ink ! 

I printed off some free vintages images onto vellum and added these to the pages along with stamped images - most of which are of a botanical theme !

Some of the pages have little pockets for storing precious items !

Angled Tag Topper Punch - 12x12 Layout !

Morning ! We are under a lot of water here in Worcestershire and today will not help as we are experiencing more rain and high winds again !!! The dogs and cats want to be inside and who can blame them,  so do I, it is after all great crafting weather !!!! Here is the second layout - exactly the same design in a different colour way ! This one features the second new punch - the Angled Tag Topper Punch !

Christmas 12x12 Layout Using Stampin" Up Tag Topper Punches !

Hello ! I have a layout to share with you today which I will be teaching to a big group of ladies at the weekend ! I have done the same layout in two colourways - see tomorrow for the second !!!
I always do a layout with them as they all scrapbook and in the traditional way - it's nice to know that most scrapbookers still do, although some have added Smashbooks and Project Life to their journalling repertoire ! It's a little late for Christmas but that's exactly what Scrapbookers do in the dark months of January and February - I have added in some tags made with two new punches from the Spring /Summer seasonal catalogue !

Sorry the photos are a little in shadow - not great light at the mo for taking photos ! You can see I have made a mini envelope using the Envelope Punch Board and inside is a cute little tag made with the new - Scalloped Tag Topper Punch ! I do love good tools - they are so worn investing in as you can make your own embellishments ! 

The large snowflake stamp set Festive Flurry is still available to order - it has been carried forward along with some other seasonal goodies - please contact me for more details !
