Simply Created Christmas Banner !

Hello ! I haven't disappeared - I had an argument with a coat hanger a couple of weeks ago and injured my right eye !! It has been really hard to craft because I am not allowed to lean my head forward as the eye has to heal !!Silly me !!! Anyway , I have started slowly to do a bit at a time and have created a banner from the gorgeous canvas paper pennants available from the Seasonal Catalogue ! It has been slow progress and will be for the foreseeable future and I have really missed my crafting ! I added in some Season of Style DSP - made into pleated rosettes and some sewn bows made from Cherry Cobbler grosgrain ribbon. The first thing I did was to stamp all the backgrounds in Crumb cake ink using En Francais - my favourite background stamp !

I sponged the pennant edges and stamped out lots of Festive Flurry snowflakes and die cut silver glitter card and layered them up with the rosettes and some doilies ! Some bling and gorgeous Frosted Finishes Embellishments completed the project !
Thank you so much for your visit and happy crafting !

Season of Style Christmas Card !

Good Morning !
All finished with my PINK things - cards , labels, badges and raffles prizes all complete so time to make a Christmas card for my OH - don't worry - he doesn't read my blog !!! LOL ! He likes a traditional card so I used Season of Style DSP combined with Santa's List and Ex Libris stamp set accessorised with some lace, cherry cobbler seam binding ribbon , antique brads and a distressed doily ! My card stock is very vanilla and my inks - cherry cobbler and crumb cake - I heat embossed the sentiment ( from Calm Christmas ) in gold and added some pretty punched edges in brushed gold card !

I used the hexagon punch to trim the corners to make my tag and a combination of circle punches to make the hole and trim .
Thanks for you valued visit - it is very much appreciated !!!
Happy crafting !

Truly Grateful for Autumn !

Good Morning !
I have been using up all my scrap card and having done Autumn themed projects recently seem to have lots of warm tones left over ! So, got out my bird builder punch and turned it all into components for this wreath card ! I've used baked brown sugar co-ordinations card stock for my main card ( well sanded and vintaged ! ) and mounted a square of Sweater Weather DSP on top ! The Magnificent Maple stamp was stamped six times and trimmed out to form the base of the wreath - I drew a circle onto my DSP in the middle and attached the leaves just down the centre so I could tuck all the other components under and around !

I have added some shimmer paint in Champagne Mist and a smatter of Champagne glass glitter just for more texture ! I had fun making this card - I love wreaths and adore these warm Autumnal hues !
Thank you so much for your visit - do come again !

Something from Nothing !

Good Morning ! We have a bright and sunny , if not rather chilly , Autumn day here in Worcestershire and it's lovely - great crafting weather !! I am always saving my scraps that are left over from a project and eventually I get round to using most of them usually by punching out flowers and leaves !!! Which is exactly what I have done here and created a card for an 18th birthday and a co-ordinating decorated box to house some beautiful earrings made by my sweet friend Sally at Gemstar Jewellery  (see her business page on FB !).

One thought - the box is a little on the large side so may have to pad it out with some chocolate treats !!! I am going to be working on an Autumn project this afternoon made from more card scraps - do pop back and see what I have created soon !
Happy crafting - hugs Jane xx

Santa's List !!!

Good Morning !! My favourite Christmas stamp from SU this year is Santa's List - he has such a nice little face and the stamp looks gorgeous just stamped in a single colour -the sentiments are fun too in a typewriter style font !!! I have some very simple tags and a card to show you today - this stamp set will get a lot of use over the next few weeks !!

I had to put some Christmas music on to get me in the mood to make these projects - LOL !!! It's only just October but the bottom line is that if I don't get on with it Christmas Eve will come like last year and I'll be up to midnight making cards !!!
Thank you so much for your visit !

It's Christmas Time !!!

Don't panic - it's Christmas crafting time ! Those who know me will tell you that I am not known for getting my Christmas cards done early and I do find that I struggle to get in the mood too early ! However, there are some lovely stamp sets in the Seasonal catalogue and they having been sitting on my shelf calling to me and I gave in this week !!! I have made a little card/mini book which can be used to gift or as a very special Christmas card. I've taken lots of photos in the hope that you can see how it goes together - take a look !!!

The card showcases lots of different Christmas stamps and the lovely Christmas DSP from the Seasonal catalogue. The card is made from one sheet of co-ordinations card and measures 4x4 inches square !
Thanks for visiting - happy crafting !!!
